At Rooamie, we believe that your health data is deeply personal and belongs entirely to you. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle the information you provide when using the Rooamie mobile application (“the App”).

1. Data Collection and Storage

Rooamie is designed to be a 100% offline, privacy-first application. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers or any third-party cloud services.

All the data you log in the App—including cycle dates, flow intensity, mood, sleep, and physical symptoms—is stored locally on your device.

2. Data Security and Encryption

We take the security of your health data very seriously. All data stored within Rooamie is secured using a 256-bit encrypted SQLite database (sqlcipher). This means that your data is heavily protected on your local device and cannot be easily accessed by unauthorized applications.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Because your data never leaves your device, we do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third parties. There are no analytical trackers, ad networks, or cloud synchronization services embedded in the App that transmit your health data over the internet.

4. Your Rights and Data Control

You have total control and ownership over your data. Within the App, you have the ability to:

Export Your Data: You can generate a backup of your data at any time for your own records or migration.
Delete Your Data: You can permanently erase all of your data from the App with a single tap in the settings menu. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered by us, as we do not hold any copies.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy and, if necessary, providing a notice within the App.
